C is Catching Up to Java as the Most Popular Language

According to TIOBE programming community Index’s November 2019 update, C is getting close to Java as the most popular programming language, with a 0.2% difference in the ratings. With this trajectory, it is likely to surpass JAVA at claim the top spot once again before the year ends.

The TIOBE index measures the popularity of programming languages. The index is determined by calculating the queries of the language’s name on search engine results, including Google, MSN, and Wikipedia, among others.
